Wednesday Evening (13th September 2006)
There will be a wine reception for Wednesday evening, on the University campus, which will include some celebrations of the 20th anniversary of health psychology in the UK. This will be followed by the traditional eating out at various restaurants around Colchester. Colchester offers a wide variety of eateries and especially good seafood restaurants featuring the local fayre caught from the nearby fishing villages. Coaches will be laid on to take delegates to and from the city centre. If you wish to join us for the evening meal, you will be asked to sign up for your choice of restaurant from a list when you arrive at the conference. Each party will be accompanied by a member of the Committee and University of Essex staff. Coaches will be laid on to take delegates to and from the city centre. In light of the 20th birthday celebrations, the wine reception is free to all 3 day package delegates and those registered for the Wednesday on presentation of their ticket. Places can be reserved for non-delegates.
Thursday Evening (14th September 2006)
The conference dinner on Thursday evening will be held at the Wivenhoe House Hotel on the University of Essex Wivenhoe Park Campus. TIckets can be purchased on registration and are not included in the conference package. The dinner will be followed by a live band, a short walk from the Hotel, at a bar with a late license.
